“Only dead fish go with the flow”, and “make it happen, shock everyone” are Bob’s go-to mantras. Bob is an industry expert in electrical, critical power and security systems engineering across all sectors. Bob’s work over the past 30 years and during his term as President from 2008-2019 has firmly established Mulvey & Banani as a multifaceted systems engineering and design consultancy. Gregarious and entertaining, Bob joined the firm in 1987 after graduating from University of Toronto (Bachelor of Applied Science, Electrical Engineering). Bob is currently working on the third and final (north) tower of the Bay Adelaide Centre in Toronto, building on the successes of BAC West and East towers, as well as CIBC Square, Toronto. Bob’s formative years as an engineer were spent working on the Toronto Pearson International Airport, New Terminal 1, during which time he saw the potential for integrated system design. Other airport projects quickly followed the TPIA project: Kempegowda International Airport Terminal 2, and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport Terminal 2, in Bengaluru and Mumbai India respectively, as well as Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, Kenya, and Adam Airport, Sultanate of Oman.
