BIO

Shaili brings expertise in managing projects of all scales - from small community initiatives to complex, multi-stakeholder cultural facilities and P3 developments. As Mulvey & Banani’s lead for education, cultural, and sport facilities, she offers extensive capabilities in electrical and building systems engineering, energy-efficient lighting, integrated systems design, BIM/Revit, and LEED Administration.

With a philosophy of treating each project “like offspring nurtured until grown,” Shaili takes pride in the enduring quality of her work, and she is especially proud of the longevity of projects: in most cases over 50 years. She earned her degree in electrical engineering in India, and joined Mulvey & Banani in 1998.

Shaili’s portfolio includes some of Canada’s most outstanding new museums and galleries, including the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, Winnipeg, and the Remai Art Gallery of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, both completed in BIM/Revit. Recently completed projects include Mohawk College’s Joyce Centre for Partnership & Innovation, Fennel Campus, Hamilton (a net zero building), and the Seneca College - King Campus Expansion, King City.
